Undergraduate students: students interested in research assistant positions for course credit or volunteer, should email Dr. Lynn Perry with the application to apply. Research assistants are involved in every part of the research enterprise, including participant recruitment, data collection, audio/video coding of behavior, data entry and analysis, and dissemination. Students also attend a weekly lab meeting for the team to update each other on ongoing projects and discuss recent journal articles related to language development. Opportunities for independent research, including honors thesis projects are available for advanced students.

Graduate students: students interested in applying for a PhD in Developmental Psychology should email Dr. Lynn Perry. Students interested in research on pediatric hearing loss and/or computational approaches to development are especially encouraged to apply. The Developmental program is a mentored research program. Students are fully funded and receive excellent training for careers in research and teaching. The outstanding faculty in our program are highly collaborative and committed to graduate training and mentorship.
